We offer a cloud solution to bookkeeping. We understand that your time is precious and you can’t afford to rule out blocks of your day in order to get your bookkeeping done. At Bookkeeper hero we liaise with you online.

How does this work?

You give us access to your online accounting file (we prefer QuickBooks Online), We send you an email if we need to request certain other documents and at your leisure, you upload those documents through our secure portal where we can act on them. Typically, the duties we preform include bank reconciliations, BAS, cleaning up your chart of accounts, Payroll and general data entry. We can also provide you with management reports and lodge documents to the ATO such as Tax File Declarations, Taxable Payment Reports and Payment Summaries online.

What if I don’t have an accounting file?

That’s ok, we can set you up with a QuickBooks Online file starting from $15 per month. Your file will instantly sync with PC, Mac, Iphone, Ipad and Android via a free app. Your file will come with unlimited users and direct QuickBooks Online support and your file is always yours.

Is cloud accounting safe?

QuickBooks Online utilise the same security as our major banks and own various servers around the world, when there is an issue with one server, they swap to another.

Are you Australian based?

Yes, we are in Melbourne’s Northern suburbs however thanks to the cloud, we have clients in Sydney, WA and across Victoria.

Are you experienced?

We are registered with the Tax Practitioners Board as a Registered BAS agent, have done several years of schooling and training and have accumulated over 15 years’ industry experience working with small to medium businesses in various industries such as hospitality, construction, imports, distribution, transport and finance. We bring our accumulated knowledge to your business, offering general business advice, bookkeeping support and QuickBooks Online training. We are also one of a handful of Melbourne based QuickBooks Online trainers, working with Intuit (The creators of QuickBooks Online) to support accountant training, syllabus writing and a variety of other tasks.

Can you come to our workplace and bookkeep / train?

Yes, if your workplace is within a reasonable distance, we can make site visits.

Value pricing means that there is no set hourly rate, instead you are offered a price for preforming the tasks you require and you, the client, are the judge of the value you receive, and that the amount of time spent doing something does not determine its value. For example, you would not ask a builder for an hourly rate to build your deck knowing it may take weeks, you would ask for a price to build the deck. As such, if someone gave you a wealth of knowledge that would set you up for life in the place you wanted to be, but it only took them 15 minutes to impart that knowledge to you, well you may say that that knowledge was priced at more than a 15 minute price tag.
